3. Service Use
a. Bookings
- The Services facilitate bookings between riders and drivers. Both parties agree to adhere to the terms set forth herein.
b. User Conduct
- You must use the Services in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Prohibited activities include:
- Misrepresenting information.
- Engaging in abusive or fraudulent behavior.
- Using the Services for unlawful purposes.
c. Ride Charges
- Charges for rides are determined based on distance, time, and applicable fees.
- Payment methods include cash, card, or other digital payment options provided in the app.
- All charges are final and non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
4. Driver and Rider Responsibilities
a. Riders
- Provide accurate pickup and drop-off details.
- Be respectful toward drivers and their vehicles.
- Promptly pay for rides using the agreed method.
b. Drivers
- Maintain valid licenses, insurance, and registrations.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, safe, and in good condition.
- Drive responsibly and follow traffic rules.
5. License and Restrictions
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the Services.
- Decompile or reverse-engineer any part of the Services.
- Use the Services for competitive purposes.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- BikeTaxi.lk is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Services.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Services.
- Your use of the Services is at your own risk.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold BikeTaxi.lk harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from:
- Your use of the Services.
- Your breach of these Terms.
- Your violation of any laws or third-party rights.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for:
- Legal or regulatory reasons.
Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately.
